Thank you all! I have been informed and accepted nominations for Chasing the Bard (in Fan Production) and Digital Magic (for Best Novel) for the Sir Julius Vogel Awards. This is New Zealand’s version of the Hugo’s and I am so pleased to be nominated. In fact twice is even better! The awards are designed by Weta Workshop and are presented at the Annual Science Fiction Convention, to be held in June in Auckland. (Conscription).
Now it is up to the judges, but you all responded wonderfully. So fingers crossed the 2009 is the year I get some awards on that mantle.
Now…. about those Parsec Awards…

Toooooo ROIGHT!!! Good on ya, Mate! All the Bruces would be proud!
Well let me be the first to say congrats on the two nominations. You should slip them a note that not only do you have the powers of the Fey at your command but you have an army of ninjas ready to do your bidding as well. Just in case they need motivation (insert evil smiley here).
Seriously though, congrats.
Congratulations, Pip! Twice, no less; I imagine the pair trophies will look nicely balanced on opposite ends of the mantelpiece above your fireplace. And if you don’t have a fireplace, you’ll have a reason to get one now, huh?
And to think, they made such a momentous decision without hearing/reading my upcoming review!
